I Would Much Rather Be Crafting than Housework!

Shh, don”t let my husband see this! Honey I love housework..right? Actually I love cleaning and organizing! Especially my craft room and supplies! So I Included a photo of how I store my Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I found this magnet easel at the craft store and knew right away what I wanted to use it for. Oh I bought them for my Advanced Crafting class ladies as well! It’s fun to share when you find treasures! Anyway, I altered this with papers, burlap, ink, embossing paste and the stamp set “Crafting Forever”. I wanted it to match my room so I mixed up several metallic inks, and glitter into the embossing paste. I stenciled it on two different layers before gluing them together. I colored the stamped images in and glued them to magnets. When everything was dry I hit it with a gold sharpie marker and wink of stella. It really sparkles! This was so much fun for my ladies to make too! If you want to make one for your craft room, click my ” Shop Now” to pick up the “Crafting Forever” set. Have fun, and don’t forget the “Dazzling Diamonds Glitter”!

Michael’s “Angel Wings”

Thought it fitting for my first post to dedicate it to My dad Michael who we love and miss very much! Upon his passing we were given an orchid, much like this one by our Priest. The tag on it, that usually would have care instructions
read- “Smile Maker Angel’s Wings”. When I saw the Climbing Orchid set in the New 2017/18 catalog, I noticed that the center of the orchids look like angels..Wow! How amazing! Definitely a “Smile Maker”! So I set the orchid on my craft table an began to create this card. I started with Crumb Cake card stock, gold foil, and the New In Color Lemon Lime Twist. I used the Burlap background stamp on Sahara Sand card stock. Embossed the orchids in gold, and sentiment in clear embossing powders. Used a sponge with Lemon Lime ink in centers of the orchids. For Embellishments ,I used clear Wink of Stella and gold sequins. This set is so beautiful, and I can’t wait to use the other orchids in it! Thank you to all the angels in my life! Hope you will give it a try too!
